Announcing:

The Arkansas Horse Council. Inc., president, Betty Jones, announced today that the AHC will now offer for sale the new book Spirits Big Adventure. This book is offered for sale as a fundraiser for the AHC. The book is written and illustrated by fellow Arkansan and horseman Charles E. Worden and his granddaughter, Audrey Faye Kuntz, aged 7, a second grade student.

Since the AHC has been actively involved in the promotion of the Black Stallion Literacy Program in the state, Jones said that "Spirits Big Adventure" will be a welcome addition to stories about horses that are suitable for children in the same age group as the Walter Farley books.

Spirits Big Adventure is for children 7-10 years. It is a wonderful story of a spritely little colt that gets lost in the forest, and is ultimately found and returned to his mother by a wise old stallion that is also, "Spirit's" grandfather. On the trip out of the forest, "Spirit" gets to meet and make friends with all the other forest residents. The fully illustrated book is scheduled to be published the second week in July 2005 and will be shipped by USPO from Little Rock. Please get your order in now to avoid the rush.

Grandparents this is the book for your grandkids. Birthdays, Christmas or just for the gift, you special grandchild will love this sweet and educational horse story. And, a portion of the funds will go to the Arkansas Horse Council's Youth Projects Division to support all the good works performed by them.
